Hit-and-run victim’s mother seeking info

Almost a year after an Itta Bena woman was killed in a hit-and-run in Washington County, no one has been arrested, and the victim’s mother is asking anyone with information to alert authorities.

Greenwood boys roll at Delta Challenge tourney

Man’s hearing in kidnap case set Dec. 13

Leflore County boys basketball head coach Michael Higgin galvanized a young Tiger team and led them to the MHSAA State 2A semifinals — the school’s deepest playoff push since 2018 — before their title game hopes slipped away in overtime against Bay Springs High School.
