Debra Hibbler has defeated Leflore County Chancery Clerk Johnny Gary Jr.
In a special election ordered by a state judge, Hibbler took 54% of the vote Tuesday, denying Gary a full second term in office.
“I feel good!” Hibbler said after the results were announced. “Now the even more challenging work begins.”
