A 27-year-old Greenwood man has been charged in connection with a shooting that took place Wednesday afternoon at the Hampton Inn.
Laderrius West was arrested Wednesday and charged with shooting into a dwelling.

First responders prepare Sunday evening to receive a gunshot patient to be airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson for further treatment. The patient airlifted Sunday allegedly was one of two perpetrators in an armed robbery of the Dollar General on U.S. 49 Sunday evening.

The Greenwood Police Department caught two suspects in an armed robbery that took place Sunday night at a Dollar General store, one of whom was shot.
Authorities received a call about a robbery at the Dollar General on U.S. 49 around 9 p.m. Sunday, Greenwood Assistant Police Chief Clifton King said.
