Cox, Liddell headed to runoff; Powell, Cookston reelected

Kenderick Cox and Lamar Liddell are headed to a runoff to determine the Democratic nominee for Greenwood mayor.
Cox led the three-candidate field following Tuesday’s primary election with 534 votes, or 40%. Liddell followed with 496 votes, or 38%, while Brandice Brown-Williams placed third with 22%.
