PA opens season with 1 win, 1 loss

The Lady Mustangs opened their 2025 season this week on the road.
Traveling to North Delta Thursday, Pillow Academy picked up a 10-1 win against the Lady Green Waves.
Pillow led 3-0 after the first inning, added five more runs in the second inning and capped the Lady Mustangs’ scoring with two runs in the third inning.

The Greenwood Commonwealth expanded its newsroom in 2025 by adding Gerard Edic as a reporter covering public safety and other stories of interest to the community.
