A book launch event was held Aug. 12 at the Greenwood-Leflore County Chamber of Commerce for Portia Collins’ new book, “Finding Freedom in Christ: An 8-Week Study of Galatians.” The book is published by Crossway, a national Christian publisher that produces the ESV Bible and gospel-centered books.
Reading the book of Galatians was a life-changing experience for Portia Collins.
“After I finished reading that book, it was really like a watershed experience, and it was a pivotal moment in my faith,” she said. “It was a pivotal moment in how I truly understand who Jesus is. And it just changed my life.”
