Greenwood Mayor Kenderick Cox says he loves his hometown.
“I was born and raised right here in Greenwood. When I say I love Greenwood, I love Greenwood to the T, and the true essence of me and who I am and what I’m about is defined by the city of Greenwood,” said Cox, who spoke to the members of the Greenwood Rotary Club Wednesday.

His position is partially funded by a two-year grant from Report for America, a national nonprofit. Generous supporters in the community donated the matching funds in the first year. We are now raising funds for Year 2.
