An emotional Mayor Carolyn McAdams was celebrated at Tuesday’s Greenwood City Council meeting as her 16-year tenure in office approaches its end.
“You know how much I hate to cry — and I do it very seldom — but y’all have just taken me aback today by everyone showing up and everyone being here,” she said.
