Leflore County unemployment rate drops to 5.1% in December

Leflore County’s unemployment rate improved to 5.1% last month, according to figures released Tuesday by the Mississippi Department of Employment Security.
The unemployment rate typically rises in December as schools are closed for the holidays and more people enter the workforce.
