Carroll Academy played one of its better games of the season Tuesday in a 6-3 loss to Central Holmes Christian School in girls fastpitch softball action in Carrollton.
Central Holmes scored one run each in the second, fourth, fifth and sixth innings, and two in the third. Carroll (2-13) scored one in the fourth and two in the seventh.
