For the second straight season, Mississippi State will enter the NCAA Tournament as a No. 1 seed.
The fourth-ranked Bulldogs are the top seed in the Portland Region and will host the opening two rounds in Starkville. MSU will meet 16th-seeded Southern University on Friday at approximately 8:30 p.m. on ESPN2.
