The Pillow Academy boys picked up their first win of the young hoop season Tuesday in Lexington.
The Mustangs shot nearly 60 percent from the field and forced seven turnovers en route to a 58-39 rout of Central Holmes to move to 1-3.
PA led 13-4 at the end of the first period and 31-12 at the half.
Matthew Mooneyham and Josh Moor had 10 points each for the Mustangs, who were without starters Shane Houston Stephens and Jack Reichle, both playing in the MSAIS all-star football game on Friday.
Mooneyham dished out several assists, and Moor led the charge on the boards with eight rebounds. He was also 5 of 8 from the field.
Nelson Hodges chipped in with eight points, two assists and three rebounds for PA, which plays at Winston Academy in Louisville Thursday night.
In the girls game, the Lady Mustangs moved to 6-6 on the year with a 51-24 victory over Central Holmes.
PA led 25-15 at the break and 49-17 at the end of the third.
Kaylee Jones poured in a game-high 17 points while pulling down six rebounds.
Anna Taylor Hudson added seven points and handed out five assists, while Georgia Caroline Self chipped in with seven points also.
In junior high action, the PA girls blasted Central Holmes 26-13 to improve to 6-4.
Abby Alderman paced PA with seven points.
The PA junior high boys moved to 3-3 as Pullen Avant pumped in a team-high 17 points, followed by Hayes Bennett with 13.
