Pillow Academy pulled off a home sweep of Winston Academy Saturday.
The Lady Mustangs cruised to a 57-15 win to up their mark to 10-7 overall. Pillow led 23-2 after the first, 32-6 at the half and 45-12 after the third.
Kaylee Jones led the way with 12 points, and Sarah Presley Howard had 11. Caroline Brock and Julia Love Lyon had nine points each.
The Mustangs also won big as they beat Winston 67-21 to improve to 4-5 overall. Pillow led 17-3 after one, 45-12 at the half and 56-16 after the third period.
Shane Houston Stephens finished with 30 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals. He was 7 of 8 from two-point range and 4 of 6 from three-pointers. He also made 4 of 5 from the charity stripe.
Josh Moor chipped in with eight points and seven rebounds.
In the junior varsity girls game, Pillow won 52-17 as Avery Howard tallied 11 points, Elise Howard had 10 and Tavi Layne Johnson tacked on nine.
Pillow (11-4) led 18-2 after one, 37-6 at the half and 48-14 after the third.
In the junior varsity boys game, the Mustangs (7-5) picked up a 62-21 win as Drew Lamb led the way with 15 points. Charlie Robinson had 12, and John Heston Powers tacked on nine.
Pillow is at Hartfield Academy Thursday.
n Carroll Academy: The Rebels moved to 2-0 in District 2-3A with a 59-23 win over Central Holmes Friday night in Carrollton.
Carroll (6-1 overall) led 9-2 after the first period, 27-9 at the half and 50-18 after the third quarter.
Logan Taylor had 24 points and nine rebounds for CA, and Reese Fulton had 16 points and 17 rebounds. Austin Smith had seven points, and Brett Harper had six points.
In the girls game, Central Holmes prevailed 49-37 as it used a 21-8 outburst in the second frame to carry it to the win. Both teams netted six points each in the first and 10 apiece in the third as Central Holmes led 37-24 headed to the fourth.
Gracie Turner had 10 points and six rebounds, and Kaitlyn Chamblee had nine points.
Mary Jordan Milton finished with eight points and eight rebounds for Carroll (11-7, 1-1).
Carroll plays in the MUW Christmas Tournament Dec. 27-28 in Columbus.
n Delta Streets Academy: The Lions fell to 8-5 overall as they dropped a 48-34 decision to Greenville Christian Friday night at MVSU.
GCS led 13-8 after one, 28-20 at the half and 40-30 after the third frame.
Steve Patterson led the Lions with 11 points and eight rebounds.
Jaylen Prayer had nine points and 12 boards.
Delta Streets plays again Dec. 27-28 in the Canton Academy Christmas Tournament.
