The Pillow Academy junior high girls won the North AAAA Division II Tournament last weekend to finish the season with an impressive 20-2 mark.
The Lady Mustangs drubbed host team Magnolia Heights, 54-17, as Georgia Caroline Self capped the season with a strong performance. She had 24 points, five rebounds and three steals.
Holly Whitfield added eight points, while Sarah Presley Howard chipped in with six points and seven steals.
The PA junior high boys lost 58-47 in the championship game to end the year at 15-8.
Eli Jones paced Pillow with 15 points. Hayes Bennett added 11 points, three steals and three assists, while Nelson Hodges had 10 points and six boards.
