Karle Aldridge and Avery Howard scored a team-high 13 points each in leading Pillow Academy to a 66-28 win over Columbus Christian Academy Thursday at the Impact Sports Preseason Tournament in Columbus.
Aldridge also had two assists, and Howard had three rebounds.
Pillow led 13-1 after the first, 26-12 at the half and 49-21 after the third period.
Olivia Gayle Brock had nine points, and Alanna Hodo finished with eight points, four assists, three steals and two blocks.
Addison Weems finished with seven points, five rebounds and two assists.
In the junior varsity game, Pillow won 39-12 as it led 9-0 after one, 21-1 at the half and 34-5 after the third period.
Lillie Brooks Flautt had nine points and eight rebounds, and Sara Michael Lary tacked on six points and three steals.
Ann Rogers Crowder had five points, two steals and two assists. Annie Powers had five points and four rebounds.
-Carroll Academy: The Lady Rebels dropped a 49-17 decision to Lamar School Thursday in Columbus.
Carlie Hoover led Carroll (0-2) with 11 points. Meri Brynn Reeves tacked on four.
In the JV game, Carroll beat Lamar 25-11 as Hoover had six points and Kaylyn Wiltshire five.
