E.J. Williams of Munford, Tennessee, and Charity Taylor of Holcomb announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kayla Ashton Williams of Grenada, to Christian River Wolfe of Greenwood.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Kevin Guy Wolfe and Lisa Brasel Wolfe of Greenwood. He is the grandson of Jimmy Brasel of Horn Lake and the late Linda Brasel, and Bobby and May Wolfe of Moon Lake, and the late Linda Sheley.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Steve and Hazel Mitchell of Holcomb and Eddie and Aleta Williams of Grenada.
Miss Williams is a 2015 graduate of Grenada High School and a 2017 graduate of Holmes Community College and Mississippi Delta Community College. She is employed as a phlebotomist at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada.
Mr. Wolfe is a 2013 graduate of Carroll Academy and a 2015 graduate of Holmes Community College, where he received an associate’s degree in pre-radiology. He graduated from Mississippi Delta Community College in 2017 with an associate’s degree and certification in radiologic technology. He is employed as a radiologic technologist at Panola Medical Center in Batesville and at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. on Sept. 29 at North Greenwood Baptist Church. The Rev. Kevin Tribble of Holcomb will officiate.
A reception will follow at North Greenwood Baptist Church.
