Patricia Wiggins and Phillip West of Greenwood announce the engagement and forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Krystal Lashae Wiggins of Greenwood, to Kendrick Devon Smith of Greenwood.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of M.L. Steele and Pearlie Smith of Greenwood.
Miss Wiggins is the granddaughter of the late Frankie Lee and Mary Frances West, and Lula Mae Daniel, all of Greenwood.
Miss Wiggins graduated from Amanda Elzy High School in 2004. She attended Mississippi Valley State University and is now attending Delta Beauty College.
Mr. Smith graduated from Greenwood High School with honors. He also attended Mississippi State.
He is a member of the Army National Guard and returned home from a deployment to Iraq in March.
The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m., July 24, 2010, at Whittington Park. The Rev. Aaron Brown will officiate.
The reception will follow at the Greenwood Youth Center.
Friends and relatives of the couple are invited.
