Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Wethington of Nazareth, Texas, have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Carie Ann Wethington of Nashville, Tenn., to Paul Jefferson Crow Jr., also of Nashville.
Mr. Crow is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jefferson Crow Sr. of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of Claudine Stevens and the late T.F. Stevens and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Crow, all of Noxapater.
Miss Wethington is the granddaughter of Anita Jobe of Tulia, Texas, and the late Lonnie Jobe and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Wethington of Nazareth.
The bride-elect is a 1996 graduate of Nazareth High School. She attended South Plains College.
She is employed as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Pillow Academy. He studied classical piano at Delta State University and graduated from Belmont University in Nashville with a degree in commercial piano in 2000.
He has toured with various bands, taking him to 46 states, Canada, Mexico, England and Morocco. He currently is touring with Texas songwriter Radney Foster, including live performances at the Grand Ole Opry.
The couple will exchange vows on June 27, 2009, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth.
