Carrie Grace Webster and Charles Franklin Bennett III were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. on May 19, 2018, at North Greenwood Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Roland and Teresa Webster of Sidon. She is the granddaughter of Tommye Jean Webster of Enid and the late Roland Webster and the late Joseph and Gracie Gaines of Clarksdale. She is the adopted granddaughter of the late Louis and Mildred Holliman. She is a 2013 graduate of Pillow Academy and a 2017 graduate of Delta State University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and a Master of Liberal Studies degree in history in 2018.
The groom is the son of Franklin and Jan Bennett of Helotes, Texas. He is the grandson of Alma Louise Campbell of Greenwood and the late Herbert Campbell and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Franklin Bennett Sr. of Itta Bena. He is a 2011 graduate of Sandra Day O’Conner High School. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in agribusiness in 2016 and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree from Mississippi State University.
Given in marriage by her father during the double-ring service, the bride wore a Kenneth Winston ivory sleeveless ball gown from the Ella Rosa Collection which featured a sweetheart neckline with an embroidered lace sequined fitted bodice and English net and satin skirt. The backless gown was highlighted with a jeweled embellishment across the back.
Serving as maids of honor were Lauren Bagwell of Carrollton and Avery Alderman of Greenwood. Matron of honor was Susan Webster of Atlanta. Bridesmaids were Kathryn Bennett of Helotes, Texas; Marianna Tollison of Greenwood; Mary Hooper Mason of Greenwood; Maggie Lloyd of Greenwood; Eleanor Pittman of Coila; Sara Grace Hemphill of Greenwood; and Merideth Delina Jones of Greenwood.
Charles Franklin Bennett Jr. served as best man.
Groomsmen were Trey Taylor of Carrollton, Roland Webster IV of Atlanta, Alden Thornhill of Greenwood, Nick Mumme of Carrollton, Adam Leflore of Greenwood, Austin Brewer of Greenwood, Clay Perry of Coila, Thomas Younger of Greenwood and Dustin Harris of Carrollton.
Serving as flower girl was Chloe Chandler, the daughter of Dr. Dana Chandler and Ben Chandler of Spring Hill, Tennessee.
Ring bearers were Campbell Raper, the son of Heath and Abby Raper of Lakeland, Tennessee; and Pendleton Raper, son of Corey and Lauren Raper of Marietta, Georgia.
A reception followed at The Historic Elks Lodge in downtown Greenwood.
After a honeymoon in Saint Lucia, the couple are at home in Greenwood, where the bride plans to teach history in the Greenwood area and the groom is an export logistics specialist at Staplcotn.
