Mr. Kenneth Lee Weaver is proud to announce the engagement of his daughter, Kimberly Anne Weaver, to Nicholas Norwood Taylor.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Glenn Taylor of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm McLeod Norwood of Columbus and Mrs. Tommy Taylor of Carrollton and the late Mr. Taylor.
The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Debbie Kimbrough Weaver and is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max "Sonny" Kimbrough Jr. of Houston, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leander Frank Weaver.
Miss Weaver is a 2001 special honors graduate of Houston High School. She graduated magna cum laude from Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree in marketing with a minor in biological sciences. She currently resides in Brandon, where she is a pharmaceutical sales representative for Eli Lilly.
Norwood is a 2001 graduate of Pillow Academy. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing from Delta State University, where he was also a member of their National Championship baseball team.
Mr. Taylor currently resides in Canton and is the Western Territory sales manager for MMI Systems.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. May 7, 2011, at Starkville First United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Steve Lampkin will officiate at the ceremony.
A reception will follow at the Mississippi State University M-Club.
