Diane Perry of Greenwood and Richard Smith of Sidon announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kimberly Cra’Shae Smith, to Nicholas Asante’ Dean.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Emma Smith of Sidon and the late Elone Smith and Lillie Mae Perry of Sidon and the late Bernice Perry.
She is a 2007 graduate of Amanda Elzy High School and attended Hinds Community College. She is employed as the operation manager for Retzer Resource.
The prospective groom is the son of Reginald and Margaret Dean of Greenwood. He is the grandson of the late Emerson and Doris Dean and the late Ernest and Eliza Harris. He is a 2006 graduate of Greenwood High School and a 2011 graduate of Mississippi Valley State University. He is employed as an area specialist at the United States Department of Agriculture.
The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. on March 31 at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood. Evangelist Mary Smith Johnson and the Rev. Dr. Calvin E. Collins will officiate.
A reception will follow at the Leflore County Civic Center.
