Whitney Skelton and Jonbob Wise were united in marriage at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Martyrs Park on the banks of the Mississippi River in Memphis.
They were joined by a few friends and family.
The bride is the daughter of Lela and Alan Carter of Ridgeland and William Skelton of Greenwood. She is a graduate of Delta State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree. She is employed as a deputy clerk for the Leflore County chancery clerk.
The groom is the son of Bonnie Provine of Greenwood and Dr. Michael L. Wise of San Salvador, El Salvador. He attended Mississippi State University. He is the owner and operator of Wise Publishing LLC and is a business development specialist for Delta Radio Network.
Following the double-ring service, a reception was held at The Artesian in Memphis.
After a honeymoon in Key West, Florida, the couple are at home in Greenwood.
