Mr. and Mrs. Gary Rochelle of Moorhead have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley Marie Rochelle of Moorhead, to Jeremy Roy Smith of Greenwood.
Mr. Smith is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Smith of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Smith and Pete Galey and the late Mary Galey, all of Greenwood.
Miss Rochelle is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kroeker of Moorhead, the late Frank Rochelle of Indianola and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Robert Pate of Isola.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Indianola Academy. She graduated from Mississippi State University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
She currently is attending Delta State University and will receive her master's degree in accounting by the end of the year.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Carroll Academy. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in biology.
He is employed as an outside sales representative at Rexel Inc.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. Sept. 27, 2008, at Mallard Manor in Drew.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at the State Garden Club Headquarters in Greenwood.
