Adam Reifers of Greenwood announces the engagement and upcoming marriage of his daughter, Marguerite Casey Reifers, to Whitney Edmunson Smith III of Greenwood.
The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Francis Mounger Reifers.
She is the granddaughter of Tommy and Valerie Reifers of Greenwood and the late George and Marguerite Mounger.
Miss Reifers is a 2012 graduate of Pillow Academy and a 2014 graduate of Mississippi Delta Community College. She is employed at Viking Cooking School.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Debbie Smith of Greenwood and the late Whitney Smith.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith, the late Jewel Wallace and the late Sylvestia Sims.
Mr. Smith is a 2011 graduate of Pillow Academy and a 2013 graduate of Mississippi Delta Community College. He is employed at R.C. Construction.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. on April 22 at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity. The Rev. Peter Gray will officiate. A reception will follow at the church.
