Larry and Gail Prince of Byram would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Meggan Elizabeth Prince, to John Matthew Windham.
Matthew is the son of David and Teresa Windham of Magee.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Flynt of Mount Olive and Louise Windham and the late Zeek Bo “Zip” Windham of Magee.
Meggan is the granddaughter of Betty Field and the late Mr. Ben O. Field of Byram, formerly of Harrisville, and Alma Prince and the late James Wilson Prince of Coila, formerly of Sidon.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Terry High School. In May 2009, she graduated magna cum laude from Mississippi College, where she received a bachelor’s degree in special education. She is currently pursuing a career as an educator.
The groom-elect is a 2005 graduate of Simpson Academy. He will complete his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Mississippi College in August 2009. He plans to attend the University of Memphis, where he will pursue a degree in health-care administration.
The couple will exchange vows on July 18, 2009, at Griffith Memorial Baptist Church in Jackson.
