Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Lee Newman of Wesson and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Alan Sandifer of Crystal Springs have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Christina Lee Newman, to Kyle Adam Kimbrough.
Mr. Kimbrough is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Ernest Wayne Kimbrough of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of Mary Anna Grammer of Wesson and the late Sam E. Beall and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kimbrough of Jackson.
Miss Newman is the granddaughter of Horace G. Pepper of Crystal Springs and the late Carolyn F. Pepper, the late Edgar Nelson of Woodville and Lillie Inez Newman of Hazlehurst and the late Hooker Dupree Newman.
Miss Newman is a graduate of Copiah Academy. She received a bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University, where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She also received a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Mississippi School of Nursing.
She is employed as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at River Oaks Hospital.
Mr. Kimbrough is a graduate of Byram High School. He received a bachelor's degree in forestry and a master's degree in agribusiness management from Mississippi State University.
He is employed as a territory manager with Stribling Equipment.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. May 2, 2009, at Hazlehurst United Methodist Church.
The Rev. David Steveline will officiate.
Following a honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple will reside in Hattiesburg.
