Mr. and Mrs. David Neece of Clanton, Alabama, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Rebekah Neece, to Lukas Cobb.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Cobb of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Fratesi and the late Dr. and Mrs. John Ross Cobb.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ann Hutchins of Clanton, Alabama, and the late Preston Hutchins and Betty Neece of Mobile, Alabama, and the late Sonny Neece.
Miss Neece is a graduate of Chilton County High School and of South Alabama University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. She is employed as a financial advisor at Employee Fiduciary.
Mr. Cobb is a graduate of Pillow Academy and of Mississippi State University. He is employed as an agriculture specialist with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. on Oct. 1 at the Historic Malbis Plantation in Daphne, Alabama. The Rev. Olen Hutchins will officiate.
A reception will follow at the Historic Malbis Plantation.
