Teresa Daves of Carrollton and Marvin Daves of Greenwood announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Jenny Annette Huffman of Greenwood, to Christopher Scott Cresswell of Greenwood.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Glenda Cresswell of Conway, Ark., and the late Ivan Cresswell.
He is the grandson of the late Larry Miller and the late Ruth Willhite.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Louise Holly and James Bowers of Carrollton and the late L.E. Huffman.
Miss Huffman attended J.Z. George High School and received her GED in September at Grenada Adult Learning Center. In 2009, she earned a certified nursing assistant license from Winona Vo-Tech.
She is a stay-at-home mom for her two children.
Mr. Cresswell attended Greenwood High School.
He is employed by Upchurch Plumbing, where he has worked for 14 years. He is a sheetmetalist and fabricator.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. May 22, 2010, at Liberty Baptist Church in Jefferson.
The Rev. Gary Tanner will officiate at the ceremony.
A reception at the church will follow the wedding.
Friends and relatives are invited.
