Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Percy Montgomery of Hattiesburg announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Mary Lacy Montgomery, to Benjamin Webb Sabin of Greenwood.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cocke Sabin of Bay St. Louis. He is the grandson of Mrs. Aubrey Ethan Adams of Carthage, the late Mr. Aubrey Ethan Adams, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kirby Sabin Jr. of Greenwood.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fredric James Dickey of Magee and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Percival Montgomery of Pickens.
Miss Montgomery is a 1995 graduate of Hattieburg High School. She graduated in 2000 from Mississippi State University, with a bachelor’s degree in education/fashion merchandising and a minor in business administration. She is a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Miss Montgomery is employed with her father and brother as an independent insurance agent at Mississippi Employee Benefits.
Mr. Sabin is a 1997 graduate of Pillow Academy. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and achieved his master’s in 2006 for business administration. He is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Mr. Sabin is a financial and estate adviser for Strategic Financial Partners in Memphis.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. on June 27 at Sub Rosa in Pocahontas.
