Mr. and Mrs. William Lafayette Montgomery III of McCarley announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kala Beth Montgomery, to Brock Turman Johnson of Hohenlinden.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Willie and Kay Lott of Mantee and the late Jimmie H. Johnson Jr.
He is the grandson of Katie Truman and the late Brad Turman of Huston, Jeanne Johnson and the late Jimmie H. Johnson Sr. of Senatobia and the late Mr. And Mrs. A.D. Lott of Mathiston.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Lafayette Montgomery Jr. of McCarley and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Martin of Rolling Fork.
Miss Montgomery graduated from Carroll Academy in 2008. She earned her license of practical nursing degree in 2014 from Holmes Community College.
Miss Montgomery is currently working as a licensed practical nurse at Golden Living Center in Eupora.
Mr. Johnson is a 2004 graduate of East Webster High School. In 2005 he graduated from East Mississippi Community College’s Automotive Service Program.
He is currently working at Ware Milling in Houston.
The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. on March 7 at Carrollton Presbyterian Church in Carrollton.
