Mr. and Mrs. Sid Woodard of Itta Bena announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Sidney Claire Woodard of Brandon, to Robert Grady Lodes of Brandon.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cameron of Ridgeland and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lodes of Brandon.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Grady Cofer and Edna Lodes of Brandon and the late William Lodes Sr.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.L. Hodges of Itta Bena and the Mr. and Mrs. Lee Woodard of Greenwood.
Miss Woodard is a graduate of Pillow Academy and the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing.
She is employed by Mississippi Sports Medicine in Jackson.
Mr. Lodes is a graduate of Madison Ridgeland Academy and Belhaven College.
He is employed by Athrex Inc.
The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. May 15, 2010, in Destin, Fla.
