Mr. and Mrs. Norman "Buddy" F. White of Springlake in Carrollton and Linda Diane Bidwell of Oxford, Ala., announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Lindsay Diane White of Greenwood, to Matthew Taylor Killebrew of Greenwood.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Lee Killebrew of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Killebrew and the late Mr. and Mrs. R.J. "Buddy" Bailey.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. White Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lloyd Everett of Grenada and Mrs. Maurice Yates Brownlee of Oxford, Ala.
Miss White is a 2000 graduate of Pillow Academy and a 2004 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where she earned her degree in business management.
She has been working in the real estate industry throughout Mississippi and Tennessee since 2007. She is employed by Montgomery Southern Realty in Greenwood, where she is a licensed sales agent in commercial and residential sales as well as the office manager.
She is a member of the Delta Garden Club.
Mr. Killebrew is a 2002 graduate of Pillow Academy. He attended Mississippi Delta Community College from 2002 to 2003 majoring in business.
He is the owner and operator of Killebrew Laundries in Greenwood.
The couple will exchange vows at sunset, around 6:15 p.m., Sept. 25, 2010, on a private beach in Destin, Fla.
