Anthony Bowles and Katie Turner, both of Murfreesboro, Tenn., were united in marriage at noon on Oct. 8, 2011, at McCondy Baptist Church in McCondy.
The Rev. Owen Ivery officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Doug and Jan Turner.
She is the granddaughter of Nelda Gore of Houston, Miss., and the late Reverend Jimmy Gore, and Carol Cooper of Wake Village, Texas.
The groom is the son of Mike and Carolyn Bowles of Grenada.
He is the grandson of Mary Ann Tanksley of Greenwood and the late Kinnie Tanksley, and Jim and Clara Bowles of Water Valley.
Emily Turner of Murfreesboro, sister of the bride, served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kaley Todd of Murfreesboro, Camryn Keely Thompson of Nashville, Tenn., and Cathy Bowles of Starkville, sister of the groom.
Mark Bowles, brother of the groom, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Jay Turner of Murfreesboro, brother of the bride, Brent Wiggins of Carrollton, cousin of the groom and Mike Bowles of Grenada, father of the groom.
A reception was held in the fellowship hall at McCondy Baptist Church.
Following a honeymoon to Point Clear and Orange Beach, Ala., the couple is at home in Murfreesboro.
The bride will attend a junior college in Murfreesboro and the groom, a graduate of Mississippi State University, is employed by Wiser Company, LLC.
