Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Ricks of Hattiesburg announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Courtney Lea Ricks, to Christopher Harding Wells Pridgen of Charlotte, N.C.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. Stephen Allen Pridgen of Greenwood and Mrs. Ann Wells Pridgen of Birmingham, Ala.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. Charles Wells and Annie Lou Wells and the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Allen Pridgen.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alton M. Ricks of Wesson, Mr. Fred L. Stephenson of Cumming, Ga., and the late Laura Stephenson.
Miss Ricks is a 2004 graduate of Oak Grove High School and a 2008 graduate of Mississippi State University.
She is employed by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school district.
Mr. Pridgen is a 2002 graduate of Pillow Academy and a 2007 graduate of Mississippi State University.
He is employed by Jeld-Wen Co.
The couple will exchange vows on July 21, 2012, in Hattiesburg.
