Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Lembo Prestidge Sr. of Schlater announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Avery Elise, to Jace Alexander Hamilton of Water Valley.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Dean Hamilton of Water Valley.
He is the grandson of Freda Kuhnert of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hamilton of Vardaman.
The bride-elect is the grand-daughter of W.R. Prestidge of Tyronza, Ariz., and the late Agnes Lembo Prestidge and Barbara Hindman of Tyronza and the late James Hindman.
Miss Prestidge is a 2007 graduate of Pillow Academy.
She will earn her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Delta State University in May 2013.
While at Delta State, Miss Prestidge was a member of the Delta Belles dance team.
Mr. Hamilton is a 2006 graduate of Water Valley High School.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Delta State University in 2011.
While at Delta State, he was involved in Kappa Alpha Order Fraternity of the Delta Beta Chapter.
Mr. Hamilton is employed with Calhoun City High School.
The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. on Dec. 22, 2012, at First Baptist Church in Itta Bena.
