Dr. and Mrs. Joe M. Pate of Greenwood announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Christina Joy Pate, to Sabin Lee Neely of Holcomb.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland G. Neely III of Holcomb.
He is the grandson of Linda Williamson of Grenada and the late J.C. Williamson and Christine Neely of Holcomb and the late Leeland G. Neely II, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nickles of Maben.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Edna Boone of Columbus and the late Bob Boone, and Mary Pate of Columbus and the late John W. Pate Jr., and the late Donald Jones.
Miss Pate is a 2011 graduate of the University of Mississippi.
She is a teacher at Kathleen Bankston Elementary School.
Mr. Neely is a 2006 graduate of Grenada High School and is studying pharmacy at the University of Mississippi.
He is employed by Kroger Pharmacy in Batesville.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. on Dec. 17, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Greenwood.
