Mr. and Mrs. Wayne McCrary of McCarley announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Stacia Marie McCrary of McCarley, to Louis Elliott Fancher IV of Duck Hill.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis E. Fancher III of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of Capt. and Mrs. Tom Anaston of Milton, Fla., the late Robert C. Glazier and Mr. and Mrs. Louis E. Fancher Jr. of Black Hawk.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brisendine of McCarley, Mr. and Mrs. Danny Brewer of Carrollton and Mr. and Mrs. Reece McCrary of McCarley.
Miss McCrary is a 2007 graduate of Winona Christian School, where she graduated valedictorian. She is a 2010 graduate of Holmes Community College, where she earned an associate's degree in nursing. She recently earned her Mississippi license to be a registered nurse.
Mr. Fancher is a 1999 graduate of Cruger-Tchula Academy and a 2006 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in pre-veterinary medicine and agricultural economics.
He is employed by Southern Ag Credit in Greenwood, where he is a loan officer and appraiser.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. Oct. 2, 2010, at Seldom Seen Farm in Carrollton.
The Rev. Ricky Wheat will officiate at the wedding.
A reception will be held following the ceremony.
Friends and relatives of the couple are invited.
