Ed and Brenda Leggett of New Albany announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Haley Elizabeth Leggett, to Richard Harvey Guntharp of Fulton.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Rick and Brenda Guntharp of Fulton.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Guntharp of Fulton and Charlotte Lovelady King of Oxford and the late Robert C. King.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lamar and Barbara Leggett of Greenwood and Louise Tullos of New Albany and the late Walter A. "Grady" Tullos.
Miss Leggett is a 2007 graduate of New Albany High School.
She was a member of The Pride of New Albany Marching Band, Future Business Leaders of America and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
She attended Itawamba Community College. She was a member of the Itawamba Community College Marching Band, Baptist Student Union and served as a resident assistant.
Haley is employed at McAlister's Deli in New Albany.
Mr. Guntharp is a 2005 graduate of Itawamba Agricultural High School.
He is an Eagle Scout.
He is a graduate of Itawamba Community College, where he earned an associate's degree in drafting and design.
Harvey is employed by Cook Coggin Engineering in Tupelo, where he is a Cad Tech.
The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. Sept. 4, 2010, at Hillcrest Baptist Church in New Albany.
A reception will follow at The Magnolia Civic Center in New Albany.
All friends and family are invited to attend.
