Lizzie Manuel of Greenwood announces the engagement and upcoming marriage of her daughter, Erica Lizetaqua Leach, to Jason Dewayne Howard of Greenwood.
The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Elrich Leach of Chicago.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Jake and Pearla Howard of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of Johnny Mae Howard of Greenwood.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Susie Battle of Greenwood.
Miss Leach is a graduate of Amanda Elzy High School and Mississippi Delta Community College, where she earned her associates degree in nursing. She attended Mississippi University for Women and is attending Alcorn State University to obtain her bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Miss Leach is a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is a nurse for the Delta Correctional Facility and Delta Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Howard is a graduate of Greenwood High School. He attended Hinds Community College, where he majored in auto mechanics, and is a graduate of Ace Trucking School.
Mr. Howard is employed by Builders Transportation Company in Memphis.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. on Oct. 1, 2011, at the Wedding Chapel in Hot Springs, Ark. The overseer will be Anthony Larry.
