Emily Irwin of Carrollton and Rand Broadway of Belzoni were united in marriage on Dec. 27, 2011, in the Great Smokey Mountains.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Irwin Jr. of Carrollton.
The groom is the son of Mr. Randy Broadway and Marinelle Broadway, both of Belzoni.
The parents of the bride will host a wedding reception in honor of the couple at 5 p.m. on April 28 at the North Greenwood Baptist Church fellowship hall.
Following the reception, the couple will make their home in Lubbock, Texas, where the groom will attend Texas Tech to earn his doctorate in food safety and the bride will work as a veterinarian.
