Tracy Hemphill Brown and Robert Lang, both of Greenwood, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Chasity Hemphill, to Steven Flagg.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Charlene Flagg of Greenwood and the late Jack Alex Flagg Sr.
He is the grandson of of the late Rosie Davis and Henry Will Davis and the late Willella Flagg and Jack Flagg.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lizzie Hemphill of Greenwood and the late Henry Hemphill and the late Annie Land and James Lumpkins.
Miss Hemphill is a 2005 graduate of Leflore County High School.
Mr. Flagg is a 2004 graduate of Greenwood High School.
The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. on Aug. 25, 2012, at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
All friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend.
