Mrs. Keith Austin Gragson of Greenwood announces the engagement and upcoming marriage of her daughter, Ashley Suzanne Gragson, to Dr. Samuel Andrew Myers of Meridian.
The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Keith Austin Gragson.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Joe Myers of Starkville.
He is the grandson of Mrs. Roy Long Jackson of Starkville and the late Roy Long Jackson and Mrs. Robert Lee Myers of Weir and the late Robert Lee Myers.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. William George Gragson of Germantown, Tenn., and the late William George Gragson and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Whitfield Kearney.
Miss Gragson is a 2005 graduate of Pillow Academy.
In 2009, she graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.
While at Ole Miss, Miss Gragson was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority.
She made her debut with the Southern Debutante Assembly in December 2006.
Miss Gragson is employed as a registered nurse by the Postpartum Unit at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood.
Dr. Myers is a 2002 graduate of Starkville High School.
In 2007, he graduated cum laude from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biological engineering.
He received a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science degree from the University of Mississippi in 2009 and a Doctoral of Pharmacy in 2011.
He completed his first post graduate year in general pharmacy practice residency in Huntsville, Ala., in 2012.
Mr. Myers is employed by Vital Care Inc., in Meridian as a clinical pharmacy specialist.
The couple will exchange vows at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 29, 2012, at First Presbyterian Church in Greenwood.
Dr. Rusty Douglas will officiate at the ceremony.
A reception will follow at Pleasantview Plantation in Money.
