Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Farrish of Greenwood announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Michelle Marie Farrish, to Joshua Edward Downs.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mindy Carter of Horn Lake and the late Johnny Downs.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Carter of Winona and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Downs of Carrollton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Alford of Greenwood and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Hubert Farrish.
Miss Farrish is a 2007 graduate of Pillow Academy and attended Northwest Community College in Senatobia. She is the owner of Bowie Lane Fish Market in Greenwood.
Mr. Downs is a 2008 graduate of Winona Christian Academy. He attended Holmes Community College in Grenada. Mr. Downs is employed by Mississippi-Tennessee Transformer Inc.
The couple will exchange vows on April 21, 2012, at the Swan Lake Pavilion and Museum in Greenwood.
