Mr. and Mrs. Robert Winborn Farmer Jr. of Cruger announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kathryn Elaine, to Joshua Austin Webb of Corinth.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bubba Harrell of Corinth and the late Mr. James “Jimmy” Leonard Web.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Glenn Dempsey of Michie, Tenn., Mrs. Geneva Lail Webb of Corinth and the late Mr. Bobby Newton Webb Sr.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Winborn Farmer Sr. of Cruger and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lewis Walker of Atoka, Tenn.
Miss Farmer is a 2008 honor graduate of Pillow Academy.
She is a 2011 graduate of Delta State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology.
She plans to enter dental hygiene school in the fall.
While at Delta State, she was a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta and Kappa Delta Sorority where she served as the assistant treasurer, treasurer and house manager.
Mr. Webb is a 2007 graduate of Corinth High School.
He is a 2011 graduate of Delta State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing.
While at Delta State, he was a member of the golf team.
Mr. Webb is employed by Viking Range Corp.
The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. on Jan. 21, 2012, at North Greenwood Baptist Church.
Ricky Wheat will officiate the ceremony.
A reception will follow.
Family and friends of the couple are invited to attend.
