Patsy Gilmer Ramage Dunn of Oxford and Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Keith Dunn of Greenwood announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Diana Rhodes Dunn, to Charles Weldon Mims of Gravel Hill.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and. Mrs, Charles Allen Mims of Gravel Hill.
He is the grandson of Margie H. Mims of Gravel Hill and the late Jack Mims, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Weldon.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Merritt Sheppard of Greenwood and the late Robert Willis Gilmer and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Henry Dunn.
She is the great-granddaughter of Sara Hambrick of Hernando.
Miss Dunn is a 2007 graduate of Pillow Academy and an 2011 graduate of Delta State University.
While at Delta State, she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.
Miss Dunn is employed by Greenwood Leflore Hospital as a registered nurse.
Mr. Mims is a 2005 graduate of Carroll Academy and a 2007 graduate of Holmes Community College.
He is employed by the Pelucia Rural Water Association.
The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. on Oct. 20, 2012, at North Greenwood Baptist Church.
Dr. Jim Phillips will officiate at the ceremony.
A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
Family and friends of the couple are invited to attend.
