Cynthia Joy Crocker and William Browning Jr. were married in a private ceremony in Oxford in early October.
The bride is the daughter of Phillip and Candy Tallant of Water Valley and Jerry and Judy Crocker of Sardis.
She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Billie Rotenberry of Coffeeville.
The bridegroom is the son of Alton and Lisa Waltman of Purvis and William “Bud” and TJ Browning of Petal.
He is the grandson of Luke and Nancy Schissel and Mary Louise Browning, all of Greenwood.
The bride is a graduate of the hospitality management program at Northeast Mississippi Community College.
She is employed by Regions Bank and has worked for her family for eight years at The Velvet Glove gift shop in Water Valley.
The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Mississippi.
He is employed by the Star-Tribune in Casper, Wyo., where he is a staff writer. Previously, he was a reporter at the Hattieburg American before serving as news editor at the Greenwood Commonwealth for two years.
The couple now resides in Casper, Wyo.
