Amber Jones Brower and James Michael Weaver Jr. of Greenwood would like to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mike and Pam Jones of Greenwood and William and Kathy Carpenter of Money.
She is the granddaughter of the late David and Sadie Cheek and George Jones of Odenville and the late Betty Dunning.
The prospective groom is the son of Mike and Christie Weaver of Carthage.
He is the grandson of Rachel Weaver of Carthage and the late Buddy Weaver and Martha Withers of Carthage and the late Herman Wither.
Miss Brower received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and attends the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she is working toward a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling.
She is employed by the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services in Greenwood.
Mr. Weaver is employed by A&A Home and Health Equipment in Greenwood as a rehab technology supplier.
The couple will exchange vows at noon on Sept. 12, 2009, in Reeds Spring, Mo.
