Mr. and Mrs. James Ray Atkinson of Biloxi announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kelsey Blair Atkinson, to Justin Dean Richmond of Memphis.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Basil Whitfield Richmond III of Oxford.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Dean Maples of Oxford and the late Basil Whitfield Richmond II and Natalie Chisholm Richmond.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Clovis Floyd and the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilburn Henry Atkinson.
Miss Atkinson is a 2005 graduate of Oxford High School.
She received a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi in 2009 and a Master of Accountancy in 2010 from the University of Mississippi.
She is employed as an accountant at Lucite International in Cordova, Tenn.
Mr. Richmond is a 2005 graduate of Oxford High School.
He received a bachelor’s degree cum laude in mechanical engineering from the University of Mississippi in 2010 and earned a Master of Business Administration.
He is an engineering trainee at Mueller Industries headquartered in Memphis.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. on June 9, 2012, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Oxford.
