Fred and Linda Lester of Greenwood announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Tammy Everette Mims, to Eddie Michael Jones.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Jones and the late Paula Kay Jones, all of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jones of Greenwood and Mrs. Ruby James of Carrollton and the late Howard Earl James.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M.C. Everette of Pine Bluff, Ark., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Thiele of McGehee, Ark.
Miss Mims is employed at Ability Works.
Mr. Jones is employed at Jones Sign Company.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. Aug. 12, 2011, at Black Hawk Baptist Church.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
