Mr. and Mrs. David Kyle McDonald of Ruston, La., announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Tisdale Blair, to James Andrew Hull of Greenwood.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.W McDonald of Stonewall, La., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Norris Knight of Jennings, La.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Kent Hull of Greenwood.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. George Ellett Lawrence of Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ray Hull of Vaiden, and the late Sylvia Allen Hand of DeKalb.
Miss McDonald is a 2005 graduate of Ruston High and a 2009 graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's in business administration. While at Ole Miss she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, where she served as director of sponsorship and vice president of Panhellenic.
Miss McDonald is employed with Argent Financial Group.
Mr. Hull is a 2005 graduate of Pillow Academy and a 2009 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in insurance, risk management, & financial planning with a minor in leadership studies, and a 2010 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a master's in business administration.
While at Mississippi State he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity where he served as recruitment chairman and on the disciplinary board.
He is employed with Regions Bank in Jackson.
The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8th at Christ Community Church in Ruston.
